Kendal College Festive ‘Takeover’ at Waste into Wellbeing – what a fabulous afternoon to kickstart the festive season!
As part of the ‘Supporting the Community’ module of their Link 2 (vocational skills) course, students chose to fundraise for Waste into Wellbeing. Not only was this a fun and social event it raised an incredible £414.61 to support the work we do! It was a great way for these young people to gain real life experience, learn new skills and build confidence. There was Jingo Bingo, a Festive raffle, crafts, Guess the bauble and lots of tasty treats! Thank you Kendal College – to the students, staff, parents/carers and guardians and all our supporters for such a great event.
