February Kids Cookalong

At our recent Kids Cookalong our friend Najla, from Afghanistan, gave us a demonstration of how make a classic Afghan meal called aushak – a little like ravioli. We had great fun rolling and cutting out the dough and then filling the aushak with a mixture of shredded leek and spices. We ate them on a bean sauce with some garlic yoghurt.
This is a great meal to make with friends as it’s fun and very social!
Our next After-School Kids Cookalong is on Monday 16th March from 4:15pm-6:45pm. We are making fajitas!
